In order to check the word count of your document, simply press “Ctrl+Shift+C” on your keyboard. The word count will appear at the bottom of the window.
If you need to see the word count for a specific section of your document, you can highlight the text and press “Ctrl+Shift+C”. The word count for the selected text will appear.
